The heat is back, Germany has won (the people are celebrating out there) and i have painted a lot again for the next BoB Times issue. Now i'm going to paint some egyptian temple ruins. And I've borrowed some DVDs to watch. "Romasanta, the werewolf hunt" (i like werewolves!), "The Reckoning" (a witch should be burned, my speciality :-)). I'm curious about the movies.

I'm going to begin with the Cairo adobe houses. Not sure about the main colour of the buildings, more white or more ochre?

thanks god, not so hot today. Do you know the "Post-Modern Prometheus"(in german The Great Mutato) Episode of X-Files? i have just watched it while i was painting. Really great and funny, Mulder and Scully pick up the trail of a modern-day Frankenstein. A black-white episode like the classic Boris Karloff Frankenstein movie . Absolutely great! My favourite quote:
Scully: "Is there anything that you don't believe in, Mulder?"
by the way, here is a new Cairo guy.

A street trader. No idea what he sells, the stuff is really indefinable, I've painted it green, we want to assume that it's a sort of vegetables. Fakir is finished as well along with snakes. Only two figs and the cart are left. If i will be lucky enough, they will be painted tomorrow and then it's priest's and the cultists turn.

And the newest WIP of my little Katharina, an yeti (btw a Black Tree Design fig), she says that poor yeti looks so unhappy...I've painted a further Cairo guy, an attempt to give him an unusual colour (purple). I thinks it works. Or not?

Fresh brushed, an arab boy, one of the Westwind Cairo civilians. I'm just working on the next Back Of Beyond Times update. Although I have lot of unpainted minis that i thought to take for the new issue. And some buildings, too...
