I'm still unproductive. My wife said two days ago, she feels really funny, there's something wrong here, but she doesn't know what. Some minutes later: "I've got it! You don't paint anything!" Well, what i can say....Next movie! Do you know what is narcolepsy? I didn't know it until i watched yesterday the french movie "NARCO: The secret Adventures of Gustave Klopp". Narcolepsy is if someone fall alseep for no reason even at the most inappropriate times. Gustave Klopp (Gus) is narcoleptic and failure but a really nice guy who would be comic drawer. He seems to have been born unlucky, no matter what he's trying to do, it's going wrong because his narcolepsy.
One of the most beautiful movies i've watched this year, typicall french movie magic like "The Fabulous World Of Amelie". Gustave reminds me a bit of Big Lebowski but Lebowski "Dude" was a preacher of idle way of life, Gus just has no luck.

Some days and movies later...The weekend was not bad, i've started a terrain project, a 45Adventure table, take a look: http://forum.backofbeyond.de/viewtopic.php?t=478
I got a cold now, and i'm too sick to make anything :( But a movie tip again - "Stay" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371257/) It's about a psychiatrist guy (Gregor McEwan) and his patient, a student guy who promises to kill himself in three days. But that's not all...
"Stay" isn't easy to understand. Also after the ending you'll ask "what's the hell?!?" This movie is a challenge to your imagination, it doesn't give you the answers, it's like the reality out there, not always quite clearly...

Dear guys(and maybe girls). I know, i'm a lazy bastard, sorry for the lack of posts over the past week. I could tell you, I have been busy. I could tell you, my cat/dog/guinea pig is sick. And I could tell you, one night the aliens kidnapped all my brushes and colours. Yes, I could. But I won't. I hadn't been busy. I don't have any pets apart from aquarium fishes and those are fit. There aren't any aliens or they are stealing brushes and colours from other people. No, that's easier, I'm just taking a creative break. You know, watching movies, thinking about things, making plans. Yesterday I watched the "Capote". This oscar awarded movie about a writer who's going to write a book about a murder and develops a close realtionship to the bad guy. And I can say you, it's the right movie if you are in the mood for "thinking about things". Now I've got lots of additional things to thinking about. Some of them are nice things, some of them are not. Anyway, I liked the movie, the calm course of the story, the gloomy pictures.
We will see, maybe I'll have enough of thinking and hanging around next days and will paint something. On the other hand I don't mind to watch some good movies. And there are loads of plans to make. How said, we will see.

i'm glad they're finished. That's not really a fun to paint lots of almost the same figs. I wish, Mark Copplestone would have done the minis with more dynamic poses. But now it doesn't matter. Most of the Africa minis are painted already and ready to play and I'll paint next days a superhero team, have a look:
